We will have the MBA annual deer and hog hunt the second weekend January 2014. I believe the days will be 10th, 11th and 12th.
The Hunt will again be hosted by the Yazoo Bow hunters. You can hunt either Panther Swamp or Hillside Federal wildlife management area. All you need to hunt theses two places is a permit. The permit will cost you $15.00 for the year. To obtain the T.R Complex Annual Public Use Permit, submit a completed Hunt Permit Application (available at www.fws.gov/trcomplex) or a plain sheet of (8 1/2 X11 ) paper with the compete name, address and telephone number for each applicant to USFWS, 728 Yazoo Refuge Road, Hollandale, Ms. 38748. Enclose a money order (NO CASH) or check payable to USFWS which includes $15.00 for each permit requested.
Yazoo Bow hunters have camper hookups and a place for tents or a cot. There is a fee per person that stays over night to help with camp Swayzes electric and water bill. I believe it is $15.00 dollars a night.
