This would have been his first archery deer. He came into some acorns one morning behind a fawn. We were in trees thirty yards apart. I saw him shoot, but figured he was shooting at a big doe behind the fawn. He turns around and holds his hands out indicating a rack! The buck was later killed by a youngster during rifle season.

Would have been a great 1st bow kill. At least he got to shoot. Hopefully he will connect when he releases the next arrow!
